At Call the Operator, our mission is simple: to bridge the gap between our elders and the access they need to live empowered, informed, and connected lives.

We envision a world where elders no longer face barriers to access and where they feel confident navigating their daily lives. Through Call the Operator, we’re creating a service that not only solves immediate needs but also builds lasting independence through education and empowerment.

Who We Are
Our Staff are trained professionals with a combined experience of 50 years working with Senior Citizens.
What we have seen and what we are fighting:
Witnessing firsthand the struggles our elders face in navigating a rapidly digital world.
Many lack access to the internet or digital devices, and even those who have the tools often struggle with digital literacy. This affects physical and mental health because it can increase anxiety and depression.
These challenges also create a significant gap, one where our elders are at risk of being taken advantage of, left unaware of their rights, unable to access critical resources, and left isolated.
What We Believe
We believe every individual deserves dignity, respect, and access to the tools needed to thrive in today’s world.
At Call the Operator, we:
1. Empower seniors with knowledge and access.
2. Protect against vulnerabilities caused by a lack of information or access.
3. Support through personalized assistance and education.
Why We Exist
You don't know what you don't know and when it comes to the ever changing landscape that is our society rules and laws can be challenging especially when you don't know where to get the information, or who to ask for help.
For those coming home from the hospital, we understand that life outside the hospital can feel overwhelming. While caseworkers are a resource during hospital stays, what happens after discharge? Where do you go, who do you call, and how do you get the help you need?
Call the Operator was created to stand in this
gap, offering:
- Access and Advocacy: Real-time assistance to help navigate life’s challenges, from scheduling appointments to understanding rights.
- Digital Literacy Training: Live Zoom classes designed to teach seniors how to use digital tools and technology, empowering them to stay connected, informed, and independent.
- A Trusted Partner: Whether it’s helping locate resources, understand paperwork, or simply being a voice of support, we’re here to make life easier.
